RIDE ON!

Safety First!

The safety of our student athletes is always our first priority and guides every decision we make as a team. In addition to the guidance we receive from NICA and IICL, the team will comply with all mandates and decisions from the Governor, the City of Boise, and the Boise School District.

Idaho is currently in Stage 4, which means gatherings of any size are permitted if they adhere to the Physical Distancing and Sanitation Requirements outlined in the Stage 4 Stay Healthy Guidelines published by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.

Practices

Masks are not required in outdoor settings. However, please feel comfortable wearing masks or practicing other measures that support your personal preferences and safety concerns.

Coaches and riders will practice social distancing guidelines when not riding. Coaches will carry extra hand sanitizer.

If you (or someone you have been in close contact with) experiences COVID symptoms or was diagnosed with COVID, do not attend practices for 10 to 14 days, or until you receive a negative COVID test.

Races

The League will release its 2021 Handbook in mid-July. We anticipate it will provide guidance about COVID protocols during races. We will be updating our website as new information is shared. In the meantime, here are the most recent official statements from the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) and the Idaho Interscholastic Cycling League (IICL):

NICA: Covid-19 Statement

IICL: 2021 Race Series COVID Statement
